Delivery and returns
Online Store Delivery Terms
Valid from April 27, 2026. The customer agrees to the current delivery terms with each order.
Products in the online store are sold by Saimaa Sealskin Oy, Business ID 3388623-1. The company's address is Tikkalanpuistikko 7, 96300 Rovaniemi. We sell products to private individuals in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, the Baltic countries, and Germany. Product prices include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices and postage costs.
Products are ordered online via the shopping cart at www.saimaasealskin.com. All orders are confirmed by email, showing the order price, delivery costs, and ordered products. Our customer service can be reached at info@saimaasealskin.com.
Order confirmation, delivery method, and delivery time
You will immediately receive an order confirmation in your email, where you will find the prices of the ordered products and the ordered products themselves.
At checkout, you can choose either letter mail directly to your home or a parcel to a Posti pick-up point. Delivery costs are shown before order confirmation.
We ship orders within 1-2 business days. The delivery time after that is 2-7 business days, depending on your location.
Exchange and return policy
Products at normal price have a 14-day exchange and return policy. This means you have 14 days from receiving the product to request a return. The product must be in the same condition as when you received it.
To initiate an exchange or return, please contact us at info@saimaasealskin.com. We will send you instructions for exchanging or returning the product via email.
Unfortunately, gift cards cannot be refunded. Sale items do not have exchange or return rights.
Payment service providers
The payment methods available in our online store are Shopify Payments and Apple Pay. The full list of payment methods will be displayed at checkout before order confirmation.
Issues in Transport and Complaints
Please inspect your order upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately at info@saimaasealskin.com so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Refunds will be processed as follows: we will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return and you haven’t received a refund yet, please contact us.
Exchange and return costs
The customer pays for both return and exchange shipping costs. We understand that this is not the most pleasant news for the customer, but as a small company, we unfortunately cannot bear these costs. However, we have compensated for the postage costs in the order's delivery fees to keep the total cost fair for you.
We will deliver the exchange shipment to you free of charge, provided you have handled the return of the original product to us yourself.
Delivery outside Finland
We ship products to Finland, Sweden, Denmark, the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), and Germany. If you wish to order outside of these countries but within the EU, or outside the EU, please contact us at info@saimaasealskin.com to see if it's possible.
International deliveries are handled through Posti's partners.
