We started Saimaa Sealskin because we couldn't find what we were looking for: sustainable, well made and characterful swim briefs for men. Everything available was either mass-produced basics or overpriced designer labels with nothing behind them. So we made our own.
Our men's swim briefs come in prints you won't find anywhere else. Each design is drawn by our illustrator Reetta, and printing is done with water-based inks at a solar-powered Finnish print house. From fabric to packaging, we know exactly where everything comes from and how it's made.
The fabric is soft, stretchy and built to last. It dries fast, holds its shape and keeps its colour wash after wash. We chose recycled swimwear fabric because it performs as well as virgin materials, and because making new things from old materials simply makes sense. Oeko-Tex certification means no harmful chemicals near your skin.
