In the summer of 2022, while boating on Lake Saimaa, we found ourselves wondering — why isn’t there a Finnish swimwear brand for men? The big brands only seem to offer black and navy blue. Are Finnish men really that boring?

From what we’ve seen — definitely not. So, we let the idea simmer for a while, and by summer 2023, we rolled up our sleeves. But then came the big question: how do you actually make swim trunks?

That’s what we kept wondering.

With the help of some amazing partners, we got our hands on the first swimwear samples — and things started to feel real. We also couldn’t help but ask: why isn’t anyone else doing this in Finland? Is it simply unprofitable?

To be honest, our answer is pretty straightforward:

At these prices, yes — it’s mostly unprofitable and more of a passion project, at least for now. All profits from our swimwear currently go straight into product development and growing brand awareness.

Still, our dream is to inspire people to support Finnish-made products — and to grow our visibility to the point where no one even considers ordering their swim trunks from some damn T3mu.

Of course, running a business comes with many additional costs beyond just the direct product expenses.

That’s why we very rarely offer discounts, and our products are not typically available through resellers — simply because our cost structure doesn’t allow it.

We want as many people as possible to support Finnish craftsmanship and enjoy our products, which is why we do our best to keep the price as affordable as possible.
